Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2020

Hi all,

Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?

I was also accepted to Saint Peter's University in Jersey City. The cost is about half of Mount Sinai so it's very appealing. It's a really small program so I can't find much info about it. Did anyone else apply/does anyone have info on that program?

I was considering this program since I literally live up the block but it doesn’t have a lot of into either. And I have a C+ in one of the prerequisites ?

I'm mailing my deposit fee tomorrow along with the transfer assessment form. Does anyone think COVID lockdowns will be over by May 28th or June 1st? I'm a little worried everything might be delayed.

Hi @HSnurse17,

I submitted my application for the Summer around October of 2019. My last recommendation letter only arrived there on December 27th. I heard back on April 6th.

It took them a few months to get back to me too! I hope this eases your mind a little. This process can definitely be stressful.

It hard to say when the coronavirus will end. Hopefully our school will not affected by coronavirus and everything will be OK.

BTW, I also mailed the deposit fee along with candidate reply form and transfer assessment form. @Celine did you Mail candidate reply form? School asks us to send it too.

I found out today I was accepted through email! No interview. Can't wait to start the program in August! I applied for the Summer cohort. Could we maybe start a facebook page ?

Hi! I just got accepted to the Fall 2020 cohort. I am so excited to start! Is anyone else here going to be part of the fall cohort starting in August? Would love to connect with some people before starting the program.

Hi! CONGRATS! I don't know if this was mentioned, but I spoke to someone in admissions and there is no longer a separate Spring and Summer cohort. There is one cohort starting August now. Is anyone making a facebook page? Would love to connect with other people who will be in my cohort.

Hey guys

So I got accepted on April 6th (Monday) and they gave us a 2-week decision. Just to clarify, does that mean the last date to decide would be on the 13th or the 20th?

the 20th, no doubt. definitely not the 13th, that'd be just a week. As follow up to what others were talking about, I have yet to hear back regarding whether there's an electronic way to confirm acceptance, I'm just going to mail the form either tomorrow or on Monday...I have to check USPS hours.
