I have worked with students an graduates of their programs. They are consistantly top quality in skills, critical thinking, and communication.
I am told the students work very hard but are treated with kindness and respect at "The Mount".

Hi! I'm waiting for the results of my application at Mount St. Mary's ADN advance program. Actually I am really worried because they said approximately 400 applications were submitted for the Spring 06 batch and they are only taking in 20-30 students. For those who were accepted or those who know someone who got in the program, what do you think are my chances? My GPA is 3.2 and my math test result is 100%.
i am currently attending Mount St. Mary's college, actually, this is the week of finals. When do you hear about acceptance? I think you will get in without a problem. They are selective, but your GPA should be acceptable. Will you be going to the Doheny or Chalon campus? by the way, I love the school. I attend Doheny campus, and I think it is really nice there. Good luck to you!
Good Luck on your finals! I heard Mount is very tough. I know somebody who is going there too, just started fall 05 and she's having a hard time.
Others say results will be out on Nov 18 but as per Araba it will be December. Classes will be at the Doheny campus. Anwy, thanks!

Have any of you heard anything about the ADN program at the Doheny campus? I'm thinking about applying to it. Also would you happen to know how much the personal statement is considered in the application process?

Mount has a good program. Program is very tough ..as it should be. Keep in mind the program is very expensive- I think its not worth it for the cost when you can get the same education and become a nurse at a community college or state university for a fraction of the cost.
Good Luck
