I decided to take a mental health day today. Busy weekend ahead and I just want some chill time. Perfect day for it... it's rainy outside and I'm inside with my kitty on my lap and my coffee :)

I worked all last weekend at my second job; I am so glad today is an early dismissal for the kids and its leading into a 3 day weekend! 12 in a row while sick with a cold is no fun!! So yes..... FriYAY is an understatement!!

This came at a great time in my morning! I needed this giggle!

Walked in to a kiddo and their parent waiting for me so I could look at the kid's finger that was slammed in a car door last night. They weren't sure if they should go to their doc. Y'all. This poor kiddos finger looked like someone squeezed it until it just popped! You could tell the pressure from the car door slamming on it just caused the pad of the finger to essentially pop like a one of Dr. Pimple Popper's lipomas. And that was just addressing the broken skin...I can't even begin to say if it was actually broken or not...my words to mom were "it's my professional opinion that you have this looked at immediately". Yikes.
