Montgomery College Nursing Spring 2015

So I figured I would start a new thread for those applying to Montgomery College in Spring 2015.

I had applied to the nursing program in the fall of 2015 but was put on a "wait list" which was not used because my AP 1 and 2 were over 5 years old. I have since taken a pathophysiology class and so now the AP 1 and 2 will be counted towards the four core course requirements. I have a 3.45 GPA, I scored an 82.7 on my Teas, and I have all four of the required prerequisites finished.

I really hope I get in this time or I don't know what I am going to do. I have heard the spring semester is easier to get in which makes sense because you don't have all the high school seniors that will be graduating applying. Anyway good luck to everyone applying!

Thanks! I'm going to get it in on monday but, yeah, I think it's a misprint too. There are probably some people who are still getting letters.

I just had a bit of a panic there for a bit. lol

The acceptance confirmation was supposed to be submitted in admissions right? not the health sciences building? I turned mine in at admissions and the front desk lady took it, so I guess I submitted it to the right place.

OMG after reading this I thought I missed the deadline. I was freaking out. And if that is one thing I know about MC nursing program is that if you missed the deadline you are out of luck.

@sfranci2 I thought we were supposed to give the confirmation letter to the professor Matthews office. But I guess you are right. Well eventually I was going to read the letter, anyway lol

Now, after reading the acceptance confirmation letter, I am pretty sure you are right

It says to return your confirmation to the Office of Admissions, but write Attn: Jennifer Nunez.

So, no, not supposed to go to nursing.

I actually faxed mine and then I mailed it with tracking. LMAO. I am just so scared they are going to lose mine. And I can't lose this opportunity.

It is official. I will be going into the Montgomery college nursing program. U.M.S.O.N. contacted me and said that two of the courses didn't satisfy. I will be sending in my confirmation page either Saturday (which is technically today) or Monday. Thanks you all and I will be looking forward to working with you all. Congrats you all. I hope if keep a 4.0 during the nursing program so I'm coming prepared to work hard. C you in three weeks

Anyone know if they will want us to get an iPad or a tablet of some sort? I am thinking of getting one anyway...

I might get an iPad too, since I definitely want to do digital textbooks as much as I can in the nursing program.

Hey guys .. I haven't received a letter yet.. I live in gaithersburg .. Teas 80% with gap of 3.89 and have done all the priority courses.. Idk who should I call to check my status .. Thanks

You should definitely call and check, because I got accepted without taking two of the priority courses.
