Montgomery College Nursing Spring 2015

Published

So I figured I would start a new thread for those applying to Montgomery College in Spring 2015.

I had applied to the nursing program in the fall of 2015 but was put on a "wait list" which was not used because my AP 1 and 2 were over 5 years old. I have since taken a pathophysiology class and so now the AP 1 and 2 will be counted towards the four core course requirements. I have a 3.45 GPA, I scored an 82.7 on my Teas, and I have all four of the required prerequisites finished.

I really hope I get in this time or I don't know what I am going to do. I have heard the spring semester is easier to get in which makes sense because you don't have all the high school seniors that will be graduating applying. Anyway good luck to everyone applying!

Thanks for replying...do u got a number where I can call n check .. Thanks

Are you sure you didn't get a "sorry we missed you" pink slip in your mailbox? That would instruct you to go to the post office to sign for it?

I'm not sure what number you can dial. I didn't have contact with the nursing program like other members in this topic have. Maybe try calling the main number for the nursing program?

240-567-1501.... I think this is the admissions office and ask for Jennifer nunez. If they don't answer that number call the response center at240-567-5000 get an operator and ask to be transferred to takoma park admissions .

I got in (again)!!!! I didn't receive my letter in the mail for some reason, so I emailed Jennifer Nunez and she said I was accepted!! I'm really excited! I have a prior college degree, I had all the priority courses done, microbiology and both anatomies but I got a 67 on my TEAS because I suck at math...looking forward to meeting you all!

Jazz, I didn't get a letter in the mail either and Jennifer wasn't sure why some people weren't getting theirs. You should call admissions and talk to her ASAP

Xtina, glad you got in! I too suck at math and that is what dropped my TEAS score so much. Which kind of worries me too about the dosage calc tests we have to do once a semester!

Thanks! Yeah that's going to be bad...haha. I heard those exams are really tough though, they're 30 questions and you can only get 1 wrong.

Thanks guys for helping me out with the number .. I did call n actually went to see Ms Nunez ...she said, she didn't hv me in her database and I explained that I did apply.. Then she came with the acceptance letter and the confirmation form .. So I accepted and submitted ...phew .. See u guys on 22nd

They change the curriculum, now you cannot get any question wrong in the med calculation exam.

But I don't think you girls need to worry about the med calculation exam. It was pretty easy.

Hello all,

Another Person here, accepted!! See you all soon.

Tony.

I got accepted as well! See you at the orientation!
