So I figured I would start a new thread for those applying to Montgomery College in Spring 2015.
I had applied to the nursing program in the fall of 2015 but was put on a "wait list" which was not used because my AP 1 and 2 were over 5 years old. I have since taken a pathophysiology class and so now the AP 1 and 2 will be counted towards the four core course requirements. I have a 3.45 GPA, I scored an 82.7 on my Teas, and I have all four of the required prerequisites finished.
I really hope I get in this time or I don't know what I am going to do. I have heard the spring semester is easier to get in which makes sense because you don't have all the high school seniors that will be graduating applying. Anyway good luck to everyone applying!
can I ask you guys something? When you say your GPA , is it the cumulative or just the pe-req? I have 3.61 on my pre-req but i took unnecessary classes which brought my cumulative down to 3.11. please help
Is anyone else having trouble with their emails? I know that we were supposed to get information about the "Start Here" modules for homework for the first day of class emailed to us by January 15th, but I see nothing. I also don't see anything on Blackboard. Getting a little nervous????
I am trying to find out details regarding the times of classes and schedules as I am trying to work part time and attend MC in Fall 2016. Not much information is given online and they didnt go too in detail at open house. Any advice or insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
So do you think its easier to get accepted for spring semester? I scored a 68% on my teas with a 72% on reading. Done with all the priority courses as well.
