So I figured I would start a new thread for those applying to Montgomery College in Spring 2015.
I had applied to the nursing program in the fall of 2015 but was put on a "wait list" which was not used because my AP 1 and 2 were over 5 years old. I have since taken a pathophysiology class and so now the AP 1 and 2 will be counted towards the four core course requirements. I have a 3.45 GPA, I scored an 82.7 on my Teas, and I have all four of the required prerequisites finished.
I really hope I get in this time or I don't know what I am going to do. I have heard the spring semester is easier to get in which makes sense because you don't have all the high school seniors that will be graduating applying. Anyway good luck to everyone applying!
I work for Holy cross hospital and prior to that I worked at inova alexandria so I have had to have the physical roters and cpr done. I also had a background and drug screen done but I will probably have to have that done again unfortunately....
I actually had my titers done way back in the summer. LOL. And I had my Tdap done. But I'm not afraid of needles. I have pernicious anemia so I have to actually give myself B12 injections for life, and I do it once a week. No problem at all.
Augh. I already faxed in my acceptance confirmation and called them to ask if they received it and they said yes, but that was only talking to the admissions office. And it took them a while to find it. At first they said they didn't get anything and then they said never mind, they found it. I am so nervous. What if they say they have it, but then it gets lost? I asked if there was any way to get a confirmation or receipt that they received it...you know, just in case it was misplaced and I could say, but I have confirmation it was received... They said there wasn't any way to get a confirmation/receipt. So I'm nervous they might lose it. And if it happened to get lost, then I would lose my spot in the program. I am thinking of resending it by mail. Or maybe I should e-mail Professor Matthews. No idea. LOL. Yeah, I'm just a little crazy, but only because I don't want to lose this opportunity!
I hand delivered it because my fax machine does not give a confirmation page. Just fax it from a machine that prints out a confirmation and attach it to the paper .
My acceptance confirmation says that it's due by 5 pm on Friday, October 8. Please tell me it's not due today! I just assumed that it's due on Wednesday but then I saw that many of you got yours in already. I was planning on hand delivering it on Monday.
Noooo, doubt it's due today! That is a misprint and would assume it is due next Friday the 10th when it's due, but you may want to call and confirm that. I just sent mine in extra early because I'm crazy like that. Lol
