MJC 2019 application period

Hey all,

While looking at information for the Modesto Junior College RN program I came across an awesome thread on here for the 2018 application period. It was great to read through and see how much they motivated each other. It gives us an opportunity to stress together and bond while waiting to see if we get in. I am hoping to make a successful thread for those of us ready to apply in May.

Does anyone know if you can take anatomy again through a different school to get an A to raise your GPA score, for example at delta? I received an A in both physiology and micro but got a B in anatomy.

Yes you can! Just don’t send them your transcript. Contact Marcos the counselor at mjc and he will tell you how to do it

Guys I only had 75 points and I'm worried they won't pick me because I'm at the very edge of the point cut off

I spoke with Donna and she told me the point cut off was around 74-75 last year, but they took people off the waitlist, then it became 72-73.

So idk about this year's cycle, but I am praying I get in because I've been rejected quite a lot lately, despite working so hard.

I got the email to provide documents! I applied with 77. I was accepted at Delta, but MJC is by far my first choice!
