Missing my AN friends

I've been working a new job, one that I am not sure I will fit in with. It's a night job during Pacific time, so I miss most of the good threads until I wake up the next night. By then, they're over, deleted, or it's just irrelevant for me to post at that point.

I'm also working on my BSN, so that's taking away a lot of my AN time.

I miss you guys.

So, what are the best things I've missed this week?

Maybe we should start a poster's choice thread, kind of like ixchels "What I Learned This Week," of the most interesting top five threads of the week.

We could call it "The Most Awesome Threads You Missed," or "Where Were You When...," "How Did You Miss THAT?," or even "The Weekly Review" (boring, but apt).

There was a cheese ball pic in the men in scrubs thread that was sooooo ugh it poofed.

Spidey's Mom and Dogen crank up their coworkers by saying the Q word during a full moon.

ER nurses and floor nurses still cannot get along.

Next time provide links if you can... because I want to read all of that. :yes:

I'm sort of glad that "eerily cool" thread got closed when it did. I was about to unleash my first ever nuclear post on AN. I would have paid good money to see some real, live cane beating.... And I'm typically a pacifist.

I ways figure I struck a nerve when the poster responds to everyone else but me-there was nothin' but crickets chirping from her to my posts lol 😈

Yeah I may have gotten banned from AN had I seen it still open.

Are you talking about the individual with a creepy fascination with death? I got the shivers reading the comments.. I don't know why I kept reading. It's like a dead bug.. really disgusting but you have to check and make sure it's dead.

I tried to reason with it-I felt like taking a scalding hot shower by the time it was all over.

Like my favorite line from Clerks II:

"I'm repulsed and disgusted...and I can't look away!"

And, I'm not even supposed to be here!!

Trivia: remember the scene where Randal was listing all the adult film titles, and there was a little girl and her mother there asking about some unicorn and rainbows movie (Happy Scrappy Pup, I think??) They did some creative cutting to make it look like all three were there at the same time, because Jeff Anderson refused to say the dirty film titles in front of the child.

Also, Dante was supposed to die at the end, during a robbery, but Kevin Smith decided that was too depressing.
