I was so excited to share with my AllNurses friends that I took the NCLEX yesterday morning, 75 questions, less than an hour, drove the 6 hours home and got the good pop-up when I arrived! I really hope PVT works but I'm not going to believe it until it's official! LOL. It's going to be an anxiety-ridden next few days!
I missed you all! Good luck as I know some of you are going to take it soon! :kiss
It took me 4 days from the time I dropped my application off to the BON. And a little less than 2 weeks from graduation. I was able to schedule my NCLEX for exactly a week from when I received my ATT.
Congrats MZQT!!!
I just checked with my BON. It states my application has been submitted for final approval and that a supervisor needs to sign off. I have no license number yet. I wish I knew what that meant!!! LOL
Littleone17 - I think the NCLEX is harder just because it's the final, final test and there is a lot of pressure. The questions were more vague than any I had through nursing school and the ATI about weird stuff and it felt like I was guessing the whole time. We had some pressure applied with the ATI but it is nothing like the NCLEX. But, when I got into the NCLEX, I sat down and really focused on what the question was asking me and took my time. Good luck and if I can do it, you can do it too!
I'm sure you found out by now if you're in PA. I took mine on Wednesday, 12/28 and the BON issued my license yesterday morning. Funny because my PearsonVue Quick Results were ready this afternoon. I did not bother because I already knew. GOOD LUCK!!
Congrats to you! I'm not in PA, I'm in CO. No license number yet. I am praying for a miracle they update it over the weekend but I will probably be waiting until Tuesday. Oh well...I'm going to stay positive that it's good news and have a great New Years!
Happy New Years to everyone! I can't wait until we all announce that we're Nurses!!!!
