  1. Awesome Jeanster!!! I'm so happy for you!!! Great job!! And awesome work on those question trainers!!
  2. Kat, how'd you make out?
  3. MPH, anything yet?! I bet you passed because of the good pop up!! I wish I had believed in that pop up because my evening would have been so much better. I was so depressed until the next morning when I saw my license was issued. Let us know!
  4. Sweetpea, take your exam when you're ready. Honestly, you'll know when you're ready. Even though I was a mess after taking the exam, I was ready going in. I'm happy I didn't put it off any longer than i had already done...you'll know!! :)
  5. Thank you!! It feels so good to be done for now. I want to go back for my BSN and may do it this summer. Not sure yet. But, annabananaz, yes-like Me2006 said, Kaplan is online and even in a classroom if you get a group together. I did mine online (live). Totally worth it!! And Me2006, you're right! We're not supposed to feel good about it and especially when we're done the exam. They say "you're supposed to feel like you failed"...that means you passed but that thosewhohaventtsken walkout eyeliner like they passed most like likely failed. I'm gonna say I agree because even though I went in to test with some confidence, I came out BALLING!! If u have any questions, run time by me! :)
  6. Took mine on 12/28 too and PA BON issued my license on 12/29!! =)
  7. jemmens, go to my post where I share my story and how I prepared. I took Kaplan and truly believe in their program!! But I shared my story in a separate thread. :)
  8. I got the same pop-up and same amt of questions...ur good!! You're an RN!!!! WOOOOT WOOOOOOOOT!!! Congrats!!
  9. AWESOME!!!!! CONGRATS! Isn't it a beautiful feeling?!?! RELIEF! Awesome! :w00t:
  10. Me2006, I haven't come acoss anyone who has taken the Kaplan Prep Course and not pass...seriously. I think it's the iinevitable, you will feel anxious, but as long as you know you're doing questions and then reviewing the rationales every day, you will be ok. Remember the Decision Tree. ABC's. Maslow. Does the answer make sense?? Outcome make sense?? You have to be thinking that way and you'll do well! Remember, the tree won't apply to every question but then comes the others tools (ABCs, etc...). :)
  11. sweetpea, based on your name, i assume you're a girl and girrrl, so far, your grades are higher than mine were! i believe if you stay consistent from here on out, you'll be fine! i swear to you, i did not study everyday. i did kaplan from my home pc...the live on demand version. it ran from 9pm til midnight and i'd sign in and fall asleep but did tune in on what i missed with their pre-recorded videos. i don't want you to take anything for granted...i'm just being honest that if i passed and didn't study every single stinking day like i should have, then i know you can pass if you use these next 3 weeks wisely. so far so good! have you taken anymore trainers since your last post?? keep me posted on how you're making out. :)
  12. if you have the Qbank, then you're good!! Girl, do as much of the Qbank as possible and make sure you're at 60s and better. Do 50 questions at a time in one sitting then review the rationales. Before you move on, study what you got wrong then to on to the next 50 and make sure you select to include those you got wrong so you see them again. You'll be fine!! When are you taking the exam?
  13. I only tried Kaplan and never heard of the other one you reference...so I'll say Kaplan is totally worth it!! I know now they offer their program where you can pay in 3 installments. I wish you the best!!!
  14. suziecute, my Kaplan/Qbank access ran out on Dec. 28. The day I took my exam. Sorry!! But can you tell me what you're doing to study now?? I have heard the Kaplan study guide has helped many...let me know! Also, when do you take your exam??
  15. jeanster, I did Kaplan on demand too but didn't look at the content videos. I just stuck to what I mentioned in my post. Partly due to being lazy and putting things off. I rescheduled my NCLEX 7 times!! Sounds like you're on the right track!! Let me know how you made out!! I'm sure you'll do well!! Good luck! :)
