At what point did you realize you missed the check in? I’m in California and 2 in my nurse group have missed a check in. Both immediately went and did a urine test and then notified their monitor. Both were not kicked out but they were subjected to multiple urines and blood tests 2-4 a week for the next few weeks after. One is in diversion so her sobriety date changed so that means her contract was extended. The one on probation, hers stayed the same but it affects her ability to now apply for early termination.
my nurse group Faclitator always says the moment you realize you missed a test go immediately and have an option 1 urine done and then notify your monitor and cross your fingers.
Same as above - if you miss check in self-test ASAP and send them a message. It's a red flag so voluntarily testing yourself is a sign of good faith and seems to help.
My memory is awful so I have a repeating alarm 30 minutes before the end of the check in time frame to remind me to go in and make sure I didn't forget it.
I’m in TNPap and have missed five or six over the last couple of years. I never realize it until much, much later, when I’m looking at my history. Usually mine have been over a weekend or a holiday when I wouldn’t have gotten chosen anyway, thank goodness. My case manager has never mentioned it and I’ve never seen any increased testing. ?

If you miss a check in, always test the very next day or even the same evening if you realize it that day. Select the option that is the most expensive or the one that you are usually tested for. Email/call your case manager, but do not wait for them to get back to you. Go Test. Do not let much time go by from the time to you realize you missed the check in until the time you go and submit a sample.
Most programs allow you to miss a couple of check ins per year even though they don't tell you that and even though they may have a handbook that says missed check ins are equal to a positive test. In reality, they are not....if you don't miss more than 2 per year or 3 per year.
I agree with you! My case manager called this morning and said since I wasn't selected for testing on the missed check-in day, it wasn't an issue. Definitely not going to make a habit of it. The program makes me nervous because I don't want anything to happen that could derail me.

Hi everyone. Has anyone missed a check in or 2? I missed one over the weekend last week when we had an ice storm. I got distracted. I reported to my monitor immediately the next day and so far I haven’t heard anything back from her. I missed one last year when I was sick - last April so it’s been almost a year in between. I’m just scared . I’ve had all negative urine screens and have had good compliance . I’m supposed to be off probation in oct this year and I pray I don’t get kicked out or my contact extended. anyone had anything similar?
