MiraCosta Palomar Fall 2017 ADN

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm starting this thread for those of us that applied to MiraCosta and/or Palomar's Fall 2017 ADN cohorts! Please share your stats/points and any insight on either program if you have any :).

I calculated 85/86 pts depending on life credits. I scored 88 on the TEAS 6, 3.6 science, 4.0 gen eds. I'm also an Emt, worked at a hospital, and have an AA degree.

I know MiraCosta only takes 20 and I believe Palomar is 36. I did almost all of my pre-reqs through MCC and I've been told It has been really impacted the last few cycles. 85-89 was the point range for spring 2017 at mcc! I'll be happy to get into either but Im not sure on the major differences between the two programs.

Good luck to everyone, I'll be anxiously waiting the next 4-6 weeks! 😬

I know it's horrible!!

Has anyone got a letter yet? It's getting close!! I'm hoping I don't get a rejection letter on my birthday (April 14th)! That would make for a memorable day.. :woot:

Nothing yet, keeping my fingers crossed something will come through next week. I'm getting so anxious!

From the older threads it looks like MiraCosta sent the first round of letters on April 6th last year and Palomar April 13th.

how many more days?? lol

Miracosta sent out notifications in mail today! I called her

I tried calling Palomar to check the status, but I couldn't get a live person...
