MiraCosta / MSJC Spring 2021 ADN

Hi guys!

I just wanted to make a thread for everyone who has applied for the Spring 2021 ADN programs down here in Socal!

I am applying for both MiraCosta and MSJC since Palomar canceled their Spring ADN application window.

Notifications will be out within 2 months at the end of October, good luck everyone!

Congrats! I checked my email and I got accepted too ?? I'm waiting on RCC though so I'm not sure if I will accept their offer yet.

And to anyone out there who doesn't get the news they are hoping for, please don't give up. This semester was particularly competitive and Fall 2021 should be a lot more forgiving to apply to, especially with Palomar opening up again. You all are so smart and deserve the future you are after! Good luck everyone  ?

Congrats to everyone getting into your chosen programs!! I can’t reply individually for some reason. I’m still waiting until the end of the month for MiraCosta to start sending offers!

Congratulations. If you guys don't mind me asking, what were your overall scores out of the multi-criteria point system for MSJC, and did you apply for the LVN-RN position or RN position?

Thanks! I applied for MSJC LVN-RN I had 95 points... I heard it was more competitive this year ☺

Hi! ?? For MSJC I calculated my points at 95 and I applied for the regular RN program. My counselor for MSJC told me the lowest points they usually take are in the mid 80s for the RN program.

Lucy, that's a great job also! Man, you guys made it competitive. Any of you guys know anyone personally that applied for this Spring and awaiting a response for acceptance also?

I don't personally know anyone awaiting a response, however I do know someone that got a rejection email ? if you are awaiting an email still, perhaps they are waiting to offer an alternate spot in case people decline!
