MiraCosta / MSJC Spring 2021 ADN

Hi guys!

I just wanted to make a thread for everyone who has applied for the Spring 2021 ADN programs down here in Socal!

I am applying for both MiraCosta and MSJC since Palomar canceled their Spring ADN application window.

Notifications will be out within 2 months at the end of October, good luck everyone!

Oh! I got accepted. I forgot to state that in my initial response. Another of my friends got accepted also. Both with a 95 multi-criteria score and RN Program.

I don't personally know anyone awaiting a response, however I do know someone that got a rejection email ? if you are awaiting an email still, perhaps they are waiting to offer an alternate spot in case people decline!

Congrats everyone who's made it in so far! I'm still waiting as well. I estimated my points to be somewhere between 85-89, so with the previous average of 93 I didn't want to be hard on myself if I didn't get in LOL. MiraCosta is a tough program to get into (with high points on apps and small cohorts) so for all of you guys who got in that's a tremendous accomplishment!

Have you checked your MSJC email? Lucy might be right, they are just waiting for people to either accept/ decline their letters? Then again as she stated, some people are already getting denied. I am assuming those are the ones with lower multi-criteria scores.

Congratulations! ? So thats about 4 people out of the 12 total that they take with 95 points. Definitely a very competitive semester with MSJC.

Thank you! I agree that leaves roughly 8 spots open for the RN Program (assuming its 12 and that all four of us accepted).

And I think one of us got into a LVN-RN

So who in this group is waiting to hear from Mira Costa? Only a few I think including myself and Tamlyn?

No, Tamlyn has not heard from MiraCosta. We work together and neither of us have heard from MiraCosta.
