MiraCosta / MSJC Spring 2021 ADN

Hi guys!

I just wanted to make a thread for everyone who has applied for the Spring 2021 ADN programs down here in Socal!

I am applying for both MiraCosta and MSJC since Palomar canceled their Spring ADN application window.

Notifications will be out within 2 months at the end of October, good luck everyone!

 

Sooo who wants to email a Miracosta counselor and try to get some hints as to an estimate for the lowest points that will be accepted for Spring? Hahaha. This waiting is brutalllllllll.

@mia h, hello! Wondering if you have confirmed how many points you have with the department? I haven’t asked yet, too nervous LOL. I estimated close to 90, below average, which makes me nervous. However, I already have plan b to retake micro and try to bump my B to an A. Then, I’ll reapply in Feb for Fall 21, which I’ll also apply to Palomar too if that’s the case. This year I only applied to MC. Good luck and let us know if you find any info out about the lowest points they’re accepting! I hope every single one of us make it this cohort! Hang in there!!

I haven’t confirmed either ? do we know when/how we’re supposed to hear back from MSJC?

MSJC said 2-4 weeks and it was 2 weeks this Friday so hopefully we hear back next week!

Hi everyone! So I missed the deadline for Spring, so I will be applying in February. I'm estimating my points to be around 90-92. Not sure exactly where that puts me, but hopefully it gives me a fair shot! Good luck to all of those who applied for this upcoming cohort in Spring ?

Question for MiraCosta Applicants! Any idea how the school will be sending notifications/offers, once they’ve made their decision for the Spring 21 cohort? Hope we all make it!! Good luck everyone!!

I just emailed Mallory at MC asking if we would all be notified and how notifications will be sent ? Good luck everyone! Website says we should here by the end of this month! I’ll update you guys, once I receive a response about how they notify/send offers.

I believe MC will notify via email. The email you put on your application. MSJC was very specific on the other hand and said to ONLY put your school email and that is how they would be notifying people. Hope we hear good news soon!!

MSJC said 2-4 weeks and we are halfway through week 3, so hopefully we hear back soon! Everytime my phone chimes I get so excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time ?  Fingers crossed everyone! ?

LOL! Same here. I have anxiety every time my phone gets an email!

Mallory replied and said notifications will go out by my email at the end of the month. Hope we all get in!! Now we can stop worrying and wondering for the next couple weeks or so LOL I’ve been checking my email nonstop!
