Hi guys!
I just wanted to make a thread for everyone who has applied for the Spring 2021 ADN programs down here in Socal!
I am applying for both MiraCosta and MSJC since Palomar canceled their Spring ADN application window.
Notifications will be out within 2 months at the end of October, good luck everyone!

It looks like RCC takes a lot more people too, that's awesome! Wishing you the best of luck, hope you get in ??

Yeah MC is like an hour away from me but I really like the school, if it wasn't too far it would be my first choice.

Thanks do you know how many people MiraCosta accepts?

An RN I work with said that MC was considering lowering the number of students that they are accepting with the intention of keeping class size smaller because of Covid... not good news for all of us, but it is what it is.

MiraCosta takes 20 people every Spring and Fall. It said on their FAQ for nursing that the average point value accepted to their program for Spring and Fall of 2020 was 93 points

Oh gosh 20 people already seems so low ?

I think MSJC is only taking 12 students. I think they take 24 RN students for Fall and then split 12 RN & 12 LVN to RN students for Spring.
Spring is a tough semester ?

@malonso29 MSJC apps are up on the website for download. **Mail in submission only** Deadline extended to Sept. 18th (must be postmarked by then). MSJC nursing website also has info on one more application workshop via zoom on Sept. 10th (there was one today as well). Hope this helps if you didn't already know.
