MiraCosta / MSJC Spring 2021 ADN

Hi guys!

I just wanted to make a thread for everyone who has applied for the Spring 2021 ADN programs down here in Socal!

I am applying for both MiraCosta and MSJC since Palomar canceled their Spring ADN application window.

Notifications will be out within 2 months at the end of October, good luck everyone!

 

Mia you got into MSJC and are waiting on MiraCosta? If you get into MiraCosta too, which location are you going to choose? That would be wonderful if you got accepted at both. Obviously you have to decline one of them..

No! Sorry, I think I worded my response wrong! I don't know anyone who has gotten any response from Miracosta yet. I emailed one of the professors (I work with her) to see if she has any idea when they will start sending out the emails but I haven't heard back yet. I will keep ya'll updated!

Specializes in Undecided, but possibly rehab nursing!.

@Tamlyn Pinzon I emailed an d heard back from Mallory from the nursing department. She said they will email notifications at the end of the month. Good luck, hope we all make it in this Spring!!

I am still waiting to hear back from MiraCosta as well. Im really hoping it doesn't take until the end of October to hear back and they get them out earlier! If I get into both im not sure which one I would pick yet.

JennyJeanne : I haven’t even thought that far ahead but hopefully Miracosta gets back to us by October 30 because that’s the last day I can tell MSJC if I’m attending or not. I live closer to MC so that was originally my first choice but ill have to do more research I guess?

They send acceptance emails to whichever email we listed on our applications right? Or is it through SURF? Can someone please clarify? Thanks!!

Congratulations!! Did they send it to the email you listed on your application or through the MiraCosta SURF portal??

It's supposed to be the email that you provided on your application! At least thats what one of my coworkers who graduated the program this past Spring told me!

Thank you!!

It was for MSJC, and they sent it to the school associated email.

We are all waiting for MiraCosta to send notications as far as I'm aware. And I think MiraCosta sends it to the email you put on your application!

Yes I’m waiting on MC !!

Does anyone know what the start dates are for class/first date you need to be there physically for any reason for either Miracosta or MSJC are?
