Military nursing

Published

i was offered a job as a military nurse. but before that i have to survive the rigorous 8 month training!

so what do you think? should i pursue it? during the 8 month long training we are not allowed to leave the camp's premises or even allowed to have contact with the outside world no cellphones no internet. I really want to take advantage of the opportunity but, 8 months without contact with your friends and family? i think its hard. as of the moment i'm still pondering, should i take it or let it go? please give me your insights. thanks

What company is that? or I mean what hospital is that? I want to apply there and to see my luck..I don't care if they have backer, I will show to them that I can do and i can top the exam even without a backer..We shouldn't be threatened by those people or applicants who have backers, we are lucky that we'll pass the exam without any help from the people inside the company or hospital.. We just have to pray and do our best to pass the qualifying exam.. It's a fascinating challenge for us nurses, who are in a battle field without any auxiliary support, we don't know what might happen, but I'm pretty sure we'll win if we're physically, mentally and emotionally equipped...So, good luck..

The examination was really difficult...I already took an exam in military nursing because my father told me to do so and give it a try:nurse:. As I remember, everything is in that exam, multiple choice, enumeration, terminologies, fill-in the blanks, ncp's, giving the pathophysiology of the disease, a lot of conversions, essays...huh...name it...

newbie here :) i went to AFP last year with the hope of being a military nurse. unfortunately, i was still underage at that time, and i still haven't got my official board rating from PRC yet.

i turned 21 last May, and i got my official board rating 'round October (i think) of last year. so, basically, i could go and try my luck now. but, i'm scared, i guess. also, i have a terrible eyesight. i do have eyeglasses, but i don't wear them all the time (hehe). last time i checked, the grade was 100+. but i'm not sure anymore, since i haven't worn it for months now, my grade might have went up to 150 or 200 already. *sigh*

i know i can get lots of benefit from being a military nurse. but i think i'm scared as hell. and i read that you don't get anything during the training? that's kind of a downside since i will be needing the pay.

any advice? :)

please, help me.... what is the contact number of nursing corp[ dept in v luna..... and is it really true that the minimum passing rate that can be accepted is *) percent..... i have 79.8...... hehe

hi..may i know where can i pass the requirements? what are the needed requirements? and are they still accepting applicants? thanks!

For those who want to apply as military nurse, please go to BUlwagang Valdez Building, 2nd Floor. Office of the Military Chief Nurse, submit your credentials xerox copy and bring your originals like TOR,diploma, board passing and prc license, resume also. Bear in mind also to wear on corporate attire even if to submit your crdentials. They are very strict on attire. Moreover, you should have atleast an board rating of 80 plus. Even though when I took the exam I only had 80 below board rating but it's an 100 items test exam compared to people who have a board rating of 80 percent and above. You have to wait for 3-6 months before to be notified to take the exam not unless you have a 'padrino' or military official to back up your papers to expedite your papers. Hope it helps. God Bless

thanks for the info @optimistic,RN

kudos for you!!

please pm me or post here what type of exam that you've taken. and also the coverage of entrance exam. TIA!
