I have finally gotten everything situated with my classes and GPA to FINALLYYYY apply! I am sending in my application this week, just finished up my chem class with a B thank god. I have a 3.0 GPA for my prerequisites and about 60 to 63 points. What do you think my chances are for getting in? When I talked to my advisor she said if I got a B in chem then I should have no problem but my worrying self doesn't want to wait that long to see. And how long did it take for a response. Application deadline is August 15th. Any helpful advise would be appreciated!!
They have a list on the website ... Tetorifice, measles, rubella (german measles), mumps, chicken pox, hep b, and TB. they are listed in the BSN handbook page 13 and 14.

Hey everyone! So, earlier today I called Jeana Brunson and she told me they are completely finished ranking. The only reason they haven't sent out acceptances is because the committee hasn't met. Jeana and Catherine could do determine the amount accepted but the committee is required for...reasons unknown. If you'd like to know where you fall in the list of 70, please call and ask. I was told my rank today and it has gone a long way in reassuring me. Please take this time to get all your shots because they are required from any school you go to in the spring (think positive)! I know we've said this but I want to make sure that all visitors creeping on this forum know that Jeana needs everyone to do this asap to make this transition easier on all of us :) Good luck and God bless!!
She couldn't give me a date other this within this week but today's Friday now so.... No idea :/ That's the reason I called them! I got in at SHSU and their deadline is on the 27th, so I wanted to make sure I got into MSU before then. You should call and ask for your spot on the list! Jeana was very understanding :)
Okay, So i called Jeana Brunson and she told me I was 43 on the list of 70, so I was extremely relieved. She said I have 69 points, but when I turned in my packet I was told I have 72. But I really dont care as long as I get in. Also, I asked her about the shots and she said that the only one you really need to have started is the hep b. what they're most concerned with is the background check because it can take awhile to do and it needs to be done before Dec. 15th.
I'm only rewritting this because I know when I would stalk this page I wanted to know what the stats of the people when they got in. I have a 3.8 GPA and I completed all of the classes required and the additonal classes that factor into the points. The hesi score really doesnt matter. but I got a 89% overall

Oh! Thanks for that info! I'll get started on it tomorrow then so I can finish everything by December. Does anyone know if they've met for the committee meeting yet or will that be tomorrow or next week?
