  1. Also I did my fingerprints but I have yet to get a blue card but I was accepted I did my finger prints the first week they could be done. I have moved recently I wonder if it was sent to the wrong address! Oh no! I dont know what to do about that!
  2. @breonab You have taken the lecture for Assessment also? that counts as 3 hours for lecture and clincal for assessment. I am in the same boat on needing filler classes. Although I am lucky to already attend so I have signed up my schedule is Monday assessment lecture from 1p to 3:50, Assessment clincals Thursdays 8a to 10a, Spanish 2, MTWR 11a to 11:50, Advanced oral expressions or spanish majors TR 12:30p to 1:50, and Medical Terminology online. That is 13 hours. It will be difficult but I HAVE to stay a full time student. the Medical terminology class is a 3 hr class and it will be useful for the program but not required and its online (: I am ready for the nursing orientation and official letters! I have checked my email daily but I have gotten nothing. As far as apartments go, I would suggest looking for small studio apartments too! I live in one it is just me and my dog since my husband lived elsewhere for work. I feel safer than in an apartment complex. My rent is $400 and includes water, then I pay for electricity and the extras I want. My basic bills +rent for necessities are about $500. that is actually pretty cheap and my apartment is very nice! Just keep a look out for any rent houses you can find ones pretty cheap. But there are lots of apartments that give student discounts also near campus! I am just ready to start and finish! If any of you do have to take intro or patho take Jamie Buchanan! She is an amazing teacher is understanding and willing to help! I highly recommend her!
  3. Yes! also MSU is trying to start a spanish minor for professions like nursing. I am double majoring and they are hoping that they can get that minor going by next fall! It is nice to know they are trying to cater to the professions and give more classes to make you more marketable! It is amazing! I don't think the program is that easy I have many friends and coworkers that have graduated form MSU and it is still a hard program. has anyone got an official letter yet? I called but I need the letter to get the benefits from my job to help with tuition....
  4. I just called Jena also, I got in with 68 points and was #55 on the list! So excited! Can't wait to see everyone in the spring!
  5. I am ready to know too! I asked to join the group and I will try to keep books for others I know it is hard to afford them but I bought my patho book pretty much brand new for $4 on amazon it said it was used gently but I am telling you it was in PERFECT condition
  6. Tiffanie it is mine too! are you taking at MSU? if so who do you have?
  7. I emailed Catherine she is hoping they have a meeting next week!!! EEEKKK! I am so nervous. I am already in intro and patho, so I am already getting the feeling of what it is like in the program and it is HARD! I hope we know mid-october! Good luck everyone!
  8. so do you think 66 is above cutoff?
  9. I dont think they will be annoyed I am sure many people are calling. So if you do call you totally tell us what they say, because the wait is killing me too!
  10. Acceptance will be sent out mid October or November. It is still too long to wait! lol
  11. I got an email for fingerprints did yall call or do the online thing? I am going to this weekend to set mine up. friends before me in the program said they knew in october so hopefully we do too!!!
  12. No where else this time. I can't move away since I have a husband and family here. But if I don't get in then I will apply again for fall and also apply to Vernon for Associates degree. That is all I can do.
  13. I took the hesi back in 2012 when I was going to apply the first time but had to wait due to some things. But I didnt study or anything for it just went and took it. I understand your concerns though on the second language thing! I am trying to test out of a spanish class lol If it is not your language it is hard! but I am sure you will do fine if you have been studying!
  14. I think so too! I got an 84% on the HESI I rushed through so I could make it to an interview but I still passed so I am ok I did great on most of the reading part except conclusions... I did not do well at all on that part but overall I made 84.67 on english and reading then an 82 on math
  15. Well I am right at the cutoff but as long as I am within the range I DONT CARE lol! I just want in. I have struggled with everything going in my life and am happy with those 66 points lol especially this summer and during the last semester. It seems everything that can go wrong has from my husband being in the hospital for months to his mother dying and having that going on plusss we moved back so It was a struggle to maintain grades this past year.
