Midwestern State University spring 2015 hopeful

I have finally gotten everything situated with my classes and GPA to FINALLYYYY apply! I am sending in my application this week, just finished up my chem class with a B thank god. I have a 3.0 GPA for my prerequisites and about 60 to 63 points. What do you think my chances are for getting in? When I talked to my advisor she said if I got a B in chem then I should have no problem but my worrying self doesn't want to wait that long to see. And how long did it take for a response. Application deadline is August 15th. Any helpful advise would be appreciated!!

Has anyone started looking for housing? I turned in my application and deposit for apartments on campus a couple of weeks ago, but they won't be able to let me know anything until end of November, which is kind of late and I don't want to wait till the last minute. First choice was Mustang Village and second was Sunwatcher Village.

I also turned in my application for housing my first is Sunwatcher since it is close to the nursing building and my second is sun dance

I've never been it MSU so I just based my decision solely off what was provided online. I really hope I'm able to live on campus, I like it a lot been then commuting, which is what I'm currently doing now!

& since you said Sunwatcher is close to the Nursing building, I hope I get in there!

I haven't been there I just went off of the information on the housing page and it said sunwatcher was close to the health and business building

So the rank is 70 total? And if you fall within that rank you're good?

I took the advice of some of the other applicants and talked to Jena today and she informed me that I am number 15 on the list with 73 points! ... FIFTEEN! my mind has been blown!

P.S. the committee is scheduled to meet Thursday or Friday and there is a slight possibility we will know by the end of the week, but defiantely next week! *think positive*

Yes, they have 1-70 in guaranteed spots and after 70 they start a wait list (but i don't know how many people are on the wait list)

Hey, I am here at mustang village already i came this semester, also applying for the spring semester. but for housing i think you should stay at Mustang Village i like it a lot! and there is a bus that goes from campus to the apartment. its pretty decent!
