Midwestern State Fall 2015

Published

Hey everyone! I've become interested in applying for MWSU for Fall 2015, but I have yet to see any threads about it so I decided to start one myself! Could anyone help me with their point system?

That portion of the test was really easy I would study up on your anatomy and physiology terms if you look at The hesi A2 entrance exam on quizlit it actually has a lot of the same type of questions with a lot of the same vocabulary on it I failed the math portion of the test so I have to retake it

I dont live in Wichita but I have gd gpa, only for govt 1and2 i had all c. All my science i have A and B Chemistry..... About hesi i think because i am Esl so that might affect my English if English is your first language you have a high chance of passing.I score 88 on comprehesion 80 on grama and 75 on vocabulary 88 math just focus on the vocabulary that are on the bk go to quizlet and cram.com type hesi A2 it will give all that you need to study for. dont buy any special book the evolve bk is the best you can use especially on vocubulary all the vacaburaly in the bk don't ignore them. I am looking foward to move to wichita if I am accepted to the program i will rent an apartment since i have 2 girls and one boy although the boy is in college at Texas tech. if you have a question feel free to ask. i don't want to give my #here

What is the BK

Oh that mean book i used the evolve 2ed the math you will find endless fractions, ratio and propotional words problems

i am really good at math so that has never been a problem. i am just concerned with the vocab and sometimes my grammar is not 100% accurate lol. i rely on spell/grammar check on computer way too much! was most of the vocab from the evolve book or was some most of them not?

If you want to her together on the weekend to go over it I can help you @keunna I have talent the test two e in January so I know what's on ot

@Tiffaniebush that be great. do you live in arlington? or dallas/ftworth area? i know you said you had to take the test again, did you already do that

No I live in Wichita but we could face time or something like that if we had to pm me on the Facebook page

@lorr19 you said a while back that you applied for financial aid at midwestern and you qualified. You said you had your mom write a letter and send it to them saying she was supporting your other siblings in college. Did you just call the financial aid office and they told you to do that? I am trying to see because my mom will also be supporting my brother. I also want to know because on the fasfa they make me put what i made from my job this past year but if I am going to go to college I would have to quit my job obviously I will not be making the money I am making now, if any at all. So I want to know if they would still take my financial earnings along with my mom into consideration or if they would just take my moms to see if i qualify. It so frustrating because if they take mine into consideration that means i wont qualify for as much financial aid as I should. I just wanted to know who you talked to about that, so I can see if I or my mom could write a letter like that?

I also applied for phi theta kappa, and I should be getting my certificate in the mail soon, thanks again for that! :)

@Tiffaniebush are you on the facebook page, I didn't see your name? I wanted to ask you a few questions about the hesi

Yes I created the page but it's under my daughter because I'm not on Facebook I just get in hers the name is Miz Silvia Gonzales

@keunnamonae sorry didn't respond earlier. I have been very busy lately. They said my mom should write a letter, stating she's still supporting my eldest brother in school as well. But my mom didn't write the letter anymore, since I couldn't apply for the program because I was hospitalized. I just got a merit based scholarship for MSU, for the Fall semester. I didn't apply, just was selected because of my high GPA. I would be going to Midwestern state university, on Friday to turn in my application, talk to Mrs Rudy, go to the scholarship(and ask for more scholarship available for fall, so I can apply for more) turn in my phi theta kappa certificate aswell, so I can get a 1000 dollars automatically, the financial aid office. I would be touring the school basically. How did you and everyone do on the hesi? Hope was ok?Am excited to go to MSU on Friday.
