@tsiondeta that's the only application you would be submitting. When u go hand deliver it, Mrs Rudy would look through them, and then take it from you.

@lorr19 so did you set up an appointment with catherine before you went down so she could add up your points or did you just show up? For the tour of the campus, did you schedule that with the MSU welcome center or how did you do that? With the tour do you get to see housing or did you have to go to mustang village yourself to tour? Sorry I know it's a lot of questions I am just trying to get myself prepared for my visit so I know what to do!

@keunnamonae you don't make an appointment with mrs rudy, you have to work into her office that's all. But you have to be there before 1pm, because she goes to lunch. Also you have to make an appointment, with the welcome center for a tour then they set you up. Also, for the housing they only take you to the housing close to school and not mustang village. You have to go to mustang village your self and tour the place with someone working there. When are you planning on going? Also have you sent your transcript with ptks seal to the admissions yet?

@lorr19 ok thats good, good to know. I am going March 27 which is a friday. Yeah I sent my transcript with the seal on it to admission and she told me she got them and she entered that I was a ptk member but I haven't received anything back from them about the scholarship in the mail. Have you? If I hadnt heard anything by the time I going to visit I was just going to stop by the office and see what was going on. I know she told me that the deadline to submit the transcript was April 1st, so maybe they are waiting until then to send out scholarships.

does anyone know if they put great emphasis on your hesi scores for admission? or do they really just go by your points? I have 69 points but my hesi score is 82:(

@tsiondesta2 no they really just go by how many points you have. the hesi score just has to be above 80 for them to consider your application. so since you got a 82 you're fine. so then they just look at your points and you have a good amount of points. catherine told me in a email that the cutoff is usually 65 or above and i know last fall it was 66, so you will be fine. should definitely get in.

@keunnamonae mrs leah said that in a few days, we would get a letter from the mail about the ptk scholarship. I would be applying to two other scholarship that I think one of the deadline is in june. @tsiondesta2, hesi score not a major thing in the admission process. Just a way for them to consider you. You would definitely be fine and you would get in definitely. The cut off is usually 64-65 pts. MSU is a very beautiful school and a close proximity to a lot of stores. I believe we all would get in. Also I just spoke to jeanna today, she told me they are still ranking applications and they would be done by the ending of april. I definitely would start calling, mid april. Has anyone taken the shots required? Also has anyone gotten their CPR card?

@lorr19 what are the two other scholarships? are they from ptk or just from the university?

@keunnamonae from the university. Got to msu page and type in scholarships, you will see one or two with the deadline in a few months. You can apply for them and look at the requirements too.

@keunnamonae check your mail, I just got a letter from mrs leah for the phi theta scholarship. I would be sending my acceptance form later this week. Have you started taking any shots and have you done the CPR class required?

@lorr19 I am at work, I will check my mail when I get home. Thanks forthe heads up. No I havent done any shots or anything, I dont know when we are suppose to? I was cpr certified but I believe I lost the card so probably have to do it again.
