  1. You both check your private message already sent. Good luck.
  2. Not sure I can leave an email here. But send me a message privately instead i can send it there.
  3. No they were also hiring for those without their license they only gave preference if u have your license for you to start next month instead of January. Also, you can email the recruiters to ask if you haven’t heard back from the phone interview to see what’s going on.
  4. i interviewed this week monday with BUMC for Telemetry and internal medicine. I got an offer the same day for internal medicine. i am set to start next month since i just have my license they starting people only for internal medicine who have their license earlier than january. My advice for you or anyone interviewing, go in with confidence and answer the questions to the best of your ability. Always make sure to give scenarios to each questions you answer. Good luck everyone you got this?.
  5. Alot of the other hospitals take new grads for example Baylor, methodist, ut southwestern, Texas health resources and so on. New grads just have to make sure their resume are Top notch, essays are compelling enough including the cover letter also. i had alot of classmates get into various positions with all those hospitals around. Yes its indeed very hard as there are alot of new grads each year. But you need to apply at a certain time so i heard when they are hiring alot. The fall isnt the time they hire alot. its mainly in jan/feb and summer they hire alot this is exactly what a recruiter told me. Everyone best bet is to do something now like home health, rehabs or snf for now and then reapply if you dont get selected now instead of waiting. This is what some other people i know did when they didnt get selected the first round. later on, they applied and they got selected because they had a bit more experience going in and not just fresh new grad. You can also apply to other rural cities if you dont want to wait any longer also, you have more places there that need people immediately. Good luck to everyone
  6. sorry about that, honestly at this point i will advice everyone to apply to other places for now because the residencies arent promising the way i see it due to them not hiring alot at this time. i applied everywhere and i have accepted a position elsewhere. i wish everyone good luck.
  7. i spoke to Anthony via phone. it was a mini interview on the phone after i did the digital interview. And this happened was few weeks ago, and thats where he told me there weren't hiring much and not alot of positions are open either. At this point am just keeping my options open everywhere else. i don't want to get my hopes high anymore.
  8. Not exactly, for Texas health resources i know a friend that got an interview pretty fast after the application deadline closed. its just mainly parkland and baylor have seen take quiet a while to get back to you.
  9. Yea i was very discouraged when i heard that. it Wasn't promising from the way he spoke. But he said he would speak to the managers and get back to me regardless. He literally told me alot of branches in dallas have no opening. I was like so whats even the point of putting up the application and making us wait like this, after making me do the digital interview ?.
  10. i applied but havent heard anything back.i read on previous forums that they take so much time before they even interview or get back to anyone.
  11. Hi everyone i spoke to a recruiter and he honestly told me they dont hire alot in the fall. All of the places in the DFW area he said they werent much positions open. He told me they mostly hire in the winter i.e january and also summer thats when they have alot of openings.
  12. @pcttorn2b Did u apply to baylor? if not try applying to baylor instead. And for what your classmate said that isnt true i have a friend that also graduated last december he got an offer for Thr fort worth to start with summer cohort.
  13. Hi everyone just want to say goodluck on your interviews for those who already did one and for those who haven't heard anything just hang in there you will definitely get called. I did my interview in Baylor irving yesterday and already got an offer today which i have accepted. Goodluck to you all!
  14. @turbulent it will be fine just send a message to the recruiters email i gave you and ask her to check your file or something and tell her where you applied if interviews has been sent out or something and when she thinks you might hear something if otherwise. Shes pretty nice though when i spoke to her on the phone and through email so you should be ok. Dont be discouraged you will get something definitely!!
