Microbiology Fall 2013!!!

Are you all ready!!? I am super nervous so I wanted to create a thread for support!!

In my nervousness I bought some additional supplies which I hope helps! I got this for Micro Lab

I finally started my 4 week accelerated micro class on Saturday. I'm noticing so far it's a lot of over lapping chemistry and a&p. I like it, it's very fun and interesting. I love growing bacteria and staining.

I loved, loved, LOVED microbiology. Remember what you learn in there because you will need that information for your nursing courses. ;-)

Micro....one word..HORRIBLE my Professor for Lecture is HORRIBLE!!! I love my labs but I have no idea how I am going to make it through my lecture exams when all my professor talks about is how many degrees he has obtained, and how he worked at Harvard and Oxford.!!!

Glad everyone is doing well! Got 100 and 96 on my last 2 exams. I am starting to lose steam though. Ready for this semester to be over already haha

95% in first lecture exam, 98% in first lab exam. Hope to keep it up (right after I get over my Genetics midterm)!

Wow Smylee that was super fast!! Congrats on being done!! I wish I could've done micro accelerated as well!! I'm so ready for it to be over!! 106 on my first exam, 111 on my second! Just 3 more to go!!

Meeep I definitely feel like I'm losing steam also. Halfway done though!

Is it sad that in glad I'm not the only one losing steam! I have a 96 in Micro and a 94 in AP 1. I study constantly and am just always tired!

I've also got 100% in the two part med terminology.

Loosing steam..... That is so spot on. Trying to refresh my self after a brutal exam in AP1 we've had 4 exams so far, a pop quiz every chapter and various labs plus projects. and thankfully I am maintaing an A. But It's like I don't have time to work on my other two classes, Stats and Nurtr. I have to have A's in the top four required prereqs: AP 1 & 2, Stats and Micro, to be considered for the BSN program. One day at a time....

We just had a test this morning. Hoping I did well. What I am worried about is we are really far behind in lecture. We are way ahead on labs but just really behind on lecture. My professor really likes to teach us the hands on stuff. Which is great because I love doing the labs but just wondering how I am going to do on the final when we are like 5 chapters behind on lecture. Guess there will be a lot of cramming the next 7 weeks.
