Hi ya'll! Anybody taking Micro this coming fall semester and want to form a study group? I did this for A&P I and II and it helped tremendously! I'm taking it along with Chem 1151 (Survey of Chem). Thanks!

wooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooo made an A in micro!!!!! Despite asthma attack, got 90.6% overall, then as I was the only student to get an A (out of 72!) he adjusted and I wound up with 93.6%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also managed to get into urgent care yesterday, and weilding all my medical records from the UK got a prescription for inhalers, so can breathe again after 4 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So got straight A's in A&PI, micro, psych and sociology for the semester, now for the holidays!!

I have my test(s) on Mon. and Wed. Lab and Lecture. Unfortunately I need a 94% overall or better to get an A in this class. :no: I'll be getting an A- which is still outstanding considering the difficulty of this class.

Congrats on your good grades everyone; I know first hand, you deserve it.

Ocelot & inthegenes, HUGE congratulations on getting your A's in micro. Awesome! You should be proud. :yeah:

I took my lab final last night. I think it went well, but we'll see. Now a ton more studying before my final on Tuesday. My stack of index cards is HUGE!!! Feel like my brain is going to explode from all the knowledge I'm cramming in it! lol.

So--so far i have 3 A's-- Sociology 2, Psychology 2, and CIS, awaiting INPATIENTLY on my micro grade which will be sent on Monday Via Email...CHOMING MY NAILS right now--

Took the lecture final today and handed my lab in too.. Its looking a B+ but i had it comming..well see. Still wanting that A to make a 4.0 this semester but its ok-- Semester honors will do! LOL-

hey Rach....I have idea yet...I missed class on Thursday ( stayed home sleeping) LOL ...but highest grade was 99...who knows where Im at...but Im confident. I have lab final on Tue and lecture final on Thur....So Im behind you guys:chuckle I feel overwhelmed. On Pschology I have a Final on Tuesday and no idea on my research grade. My professor are slowwwww...I just can't wait for Molloy in Jan.

I was actually thinking about you Rachel....let me know how you did..Im sure you did great..you are a fine student and very dedicated.

As soon as I get my final grades, you will be the 1st one to know....

Thank you so much guys!! you people are so amazing...im glad and feel very fortunate to have spent this semester with all of you. Good luck to all of you dedicated rn BOUND nurses out there.. you really helped me this semester and im sure for the next 2 years + to come!

Mel..Thank you, i wish you the best of luck im SURE you did just fine! I couldnt believe the A in psych as i did pretty crappy on her tests! I am afraid i may have clentched the B in micro..but again-- i have alot on my plate this semester and only got one A on his micro tests..a 97. the rest so far were all High B's. Please keep in touch..your awsome, good luck to you and keep me updated :)

how did you do? I have a 4 children and will be taking microbiology, A&P2, and nutrition spring 09. I need to do this to have to summer free before starting nursing school next fall. Can you give me some advise?

Hey Raquel,

Im also from Philly! LOL- Where do you go to school? I am finishing CCP right now..well lol i actually just finished. took all my pre-reqs there and begin Northeastern SON in Jan 09--3 weeks left WOOT! You?

I have 2 little babies-- 3 and 2. the only advice i can give you is to make time to study. actually MAKE the time. either during the day if you dont work and your children can give you time, or every single day AFTER they are asleep break out your books and study a little bit every day so you are not playing catch up. Thats how i did it. and my children were both home with me full time until October when my older one began daycare. My son is still home with me. its going to be hard but you can do it. and i second getting all of these classes out of the way before you start the program it will ease your load significantly.

Good luck, its a large load but its dooable, nutrition is no biggie, you will do fine just make sure to structure yourself.
