Hello, I plan on taking the entrance exam at Everest Institute in Southfield, Michigan. I wanted to know how hard is the HESI A2? For example, are the Math word problems set up the same as in the book? I take the exam on the 22nd of this month February and I am quite nervous. Please help me!!! :nurse:

Hello

I just recently taken the Hesi A2 at everest... 2/15 to be exact and I passed got a 91. I was extremely nervous but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to. The math was not hard at all. The hardest part to me was the Vocab. I think I only got like 78. lol. However I passed and I am now going through the finger printing/ interviewing process. My financial aid is done, I only have to pay $20 a month and I start May 2. Super EXCITED. Hope everything works out for you. Are you going full time or part time.

It depends if I get a job then I will go part-time and if I don't I am going full-time. I am applying for the May 2 too! Congratulations girlie! I am super excited for you. Wow the math wasn't hard. I am actually taken it very soon. I had to reschedule. What was on the vocab? So were you officially accepted?

The vocab was really random. Words that i never even heard or seen before. And realy none of them were medical terms. It was really difficult for me. The study guide book was pretty helpful though on all other parts. I still havent officially gotten my acception letter but she told me im good because of my test scores my essay and my interview. But im still waiting for a letter. However im super excited and i hope u go fulltime. Goodluck

I passed my Hesi A2 and yes the vocabulary was difficult to me too. I still haven't received my official letter but they also informed me that I am in great standing, as long as I do well on the interview. I am praying on it! I am also SUPER EXCITED for the upcoming May 2nd.

I wouldn't say it was hard its just a long process and they want to make sure you are financially qualified. When you call ask for ------. She is the admissions representative and she can explain to you about the process. Their next class is in May or September of this year. You should do fine, just make sure you study for the entrance exam and don't give up!:)

I start in May aswell... well hopefully! Email me anytime. Did you get finger printed and drug screened yet? That is what I am waiting on. Glad I found a new friend/study partner.

No I haven't had my finger print or drug screen completed yet. I am also waiting on that, I think that takes place next month with our interview. I am looking forward on meeting you too. I wouldn't mind a study partner.

I am looking for a job right now, is your job hiring? I need one bad! Next week, really? OMG! I haven't heard anything about the essay yet. Okay send me a e-mail. Are you on facebook? As far as the coursework, it requires alot of reading and studying. If we become study partners then we will be fine. Just be serious about studying with me and consistent. We will do well and when we bridge over to the RN program as well. I talked to this one girl and she said 9 times out of time we are in the program as long as your drug screen and fingerprinting come out clean. I am working a getting a new car so I wont have any issues getting to school and my babies to daycare. :)

I am so disappointed my admissions rep forgot to give me my drug screening form and now I wasn't able to complete that screening today. Now I have to wait Monday morning..... I hope that doesn't count against me.
