Hello, I plan on taking the entrance exam at Everest Institute in Southfield, Michigan. I wanted to know how hard is the HESI A2? For example, are the Math word problems set up the same as in the book? I take the exam on the 22nd of this month February and I am quite nervous. Please help me!!! :nurse:

Thanks for the info and congrats on those of you who passed! Is there a science portion? If so, what areas? Im taking the exam on June 21st and I am using the Hesi Entrance Exam Study Guide, so far it has been very helpful.

no, there is no science. Just math, vocab, reading and language. My advice would be STUDY STUDY STUDY!! It is very important that you study cuz if you dnt,u won't pass. The test is only easy if you kno everything. Learn those words too in vocab, they are on there!!! GOD bless and I hope you pass!

Thank you JBri313, I will take your advice and study as much as I can. I will post on my results, *fingers crossed*.

Sorry ppl, I havent been on here in a min but yes the test is kinda hard and yes the book you have is the most helpful. The vocab was definitely the most difficult becausethe books does not go over all the words. I am still in the program. I started May 2 so I will be there until next 4\17 which I have already started counting down. After you get pass the admission process which is DEFINITELY the most confusing, unorganized, and scariest part everything is good. YES it is difficult and something that u must study for but the teachers are great and very helpful. I am glad I picked this school. If u need anything eles or more info let me know.

i have another question, with the fingerprinting process, if my license is suspended, will i fail the finger printing process? i already passed the first background check, but my license was not suspended yet...

hello i was wondering if anyone has took the entrance exam for the lpn program at the everest school in indiana??

More than likely if ur lisence is suspended and u havent been caught drivng than NO it will not show up. When they finger print they are looking at your criminal record. If u have ANYThING on there u need to take care of that because they are VERY strict when it comes to that. But anything els you should be good. The admission process is very unorganized and unprofessional but the DON is working on it so just be patient but once you actually get in the program it is great. The teachers are VERY good and resourceful. It very fast pasced and very busy but it is definately worth it.

Hey all just thought I would post that I PASSED the Hesi!!! Im so relieved but I am worried because I don't have much work experience. I was told by my rep that they give you points for work experience and I said I don't have much but that I do have personal experience. She then mentioned that we can discuss it further when I meet with her. I really hope that it doesn't count against me getting in.

i'm going to take the HESI A2 exam on Thurs. They gave me 10 days to study.

I'm horrible at math and have been crash coursing so to speak with a tutor for the last few days. if i don't pass the math portion is that the only section i have to retake or do i have to retake the whole thing? nursing has been my dream my whole life and if i don't pass to get into the program i will just die :bluecry1:. can someone give me some info please. i am reading the comments and you have to get 75% composite. im sure i will pass the other sections as i am awesome in reading, writing. what else is on the exam other than the math? need reply asap :yeah:

are the metric conversions in the hesi book?

I have to take the test soon but in Indiana! I'm really nervous! I think I am freaked out about the math and vocab the most! You have any pointers for me? How long did you study before you took the test? How much is program in Michigan? Here it is 30,000!!!
