Has anyone attended the LPN program at Everest Inst. in Southfield, Michigan?

Hello, I plan on taking the entrance exam at Everest Institute in Southfield, Michigan. I wanted to know how hard is the HESI A2? For example, are the Math word problems set up the same as in the book? I take the exam on the 22nd of this month February and I am quite nervous. Please help me!!! :nurse:

The vocab was really random. Words that i never even heard or seen before. And realy none of them were medical terms. It was really difficult for me. The study guide book was pretty helpful though on all other parts. I still havent officially gotten my acception letter but she told me im good because of my test scores my essay and my interview. But im still waiting for a letter. However im super excited and i hope u go fulltime. Goodluck

Hey girl! I have an interview with the nursing department on the 12th. ---- informed me that this is where it gets tricky: "Chances are you can get in or not" Its based on your points and the number of students. I'm like what the heck! " I gave all ya'll mine information for the FAFSA and etc. Girl! I just don't know! Whats the verdict on your end?

Yea she called me friday but I missed her called and then when I called her today she said they were having scheduling issuses so she will call me back tomorrow. Their so unorganized. I think the interview will be fine. You did god on the test and your essay is pretty strong right? Have you worked in the field before? You will do great. Good Luck!!!

Yes they are and I did well on the exam. I am quite certain my essay was strong. Yes I currently do work in the healthcare field. Thanks and you too!

Girl I got my interview scheduled for tomorrow at 10. She called today at 5 and told me my interview is for tomorrow. Smh. But I am exicted... cant wait until its over ill keep u posted on how it goes

Girl if we get in! You are my partner for the next 10months! No one else and I ain't sharing! LMBO So girl please let me know how well you did! I am having a practice interview with a lady at my school Friday! (Baker college). You know ----- said that this is where it gets competive( I am nervous and scared) But then this other girl said I should be good as long as I am approved for Financial Aide and a clear fingerprint/background check!

I dont know why I am no scared. I feel like its in the bag... lol. We will get in no doubt. I mean what can they ask you that is going to be so hrd. I think they just want to make sure u are going to be commited and have a support system. I think the hard part is over. We will get it and then we partners for the next 11 months... ill text u tomorrow and tell you how it goes.

Its pretty basic....review your ratio and proporation..You will do fine. My two year old can pass it! :)

I actually already took it and i got a 96 in math! thank u JESUS! everybody was saying how easy it was, but in actuality, its only easy if you know how to do EVERYTHING! i dnt think it was that simple... overall i received a 90% but you truly have to study and know your work.... my admission advisor told me that half the ppl that take the test dont even pass... so whoever plans on taking it get Hesi Admission Assessment study guide... it helps alot... o yeah you have to kno measurement conversions and military time!
