Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Published

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

That's it?!

50 to the homestead one :)

It looks like it's 50 in the accelerated program, and 112 for generic full time. (In medical campus)

I'm nervous about the Accelerated program. I pray I will make it through.....

We have to think positive maddymessa. Remeber like you said, we still haven't received rejection letters yet. So there is still some hope.

Yuremaa, have you heard anything from anyone? Any updates?

Nothing yet,, it's frustating how miami dade is doing all of this.

When you turned in your acceptance form, did you bring it to an advisor? I gave it to an advisor instead of the person in the New Student Center. How can I check the right person got it?

Hello everyone. I have a question. In the instructions it doesn't say anything about the hepatitis vaccine but then in the student health form it says it is required. Do we have to have that vaccination done?

Nevermind. In the instructions it says to follow the insturctions given in the health form. So I guess it is required.

I turned in it to an advisor I don't even know her name. When you turn in , there is a yellow paper need to be filled out and also sign your name on the paper which was on the front table. I think if you do both of them, you will be fine.

Yes, I had the same question and I went in person to the Nursing department. I was informed, yes unless there is medical reason, a Drs note is required to waive out .
