Miami Dade College (MDC) Spring 2013 Gen. FT/PT& Accelerated Nursing program

I've just handed in my application to MDC for Spring '13.

Right now I'm overall score is 82 but I'm planning on retaking the TEAS in August to improve that.

If anyone has a book list from previous students, please send. I'd love to get cracking.

FYI regarding the background check, I brought a copy of it to the Nursing Department yesterday and the lady over there did not accept it; she told I needed to forward the confirmation email to Ona Walker to [email protected] couple of minutes later she replied back asking me which program option will I be attending, I am going back tomorrow to bring a copy of the CPR and check what is going on, so double check with them because they tell one thing now and then later something totally different.

Thats weird. When I turned my stuff in they just took my CPR, the background email, and the health record. I will email it just to be safe though.

Hey nursea92, I also did not receive any confirmation email, I called them gave a number in mdc Ms. Edwards and they told me to go there and get my copy. Submitted everything last friday. pm me ill give you the number.

The hep b shots weren't mandatory, right? I didn't get them, now I'm thinking I should have...

Actually on the first page, section 4 of the Student Health Record it states the Hep B is not mandatory.

Hey guys @elizabegon1! I took the liberty to make a group on Facebook for those in any of the nursing programs beginning in spring 2013.

Hopefully this will become useful once we need to start forming study groups and what not. (:
