I just wanted to start a thread for people interested in the MDC nursing program for fall 2012. I think if you shared your scores (TEAS V & GPA) and what track your applying to (full-time or part-time), it will give everyone an idea of where they stand.
I will start:
I have a 3.7 GPA and an 81% on the TEAS and looking to apply for the part-time program. I have the option of taking the TEAS 2 more times which I will be doing :)
In my previous post I meant to say white pants lol. you know what I find interesting, people who want to form study groups before school starts, or before they've actually met anyone in person. Before I decide to study with someone I need to know their personality, work ethic, dedication etc. we all know a pack has atleast 2 jokers, well I dont want to encounter even 1. By the way I'm a little concerned about time management,i can't believe we have to go to the hospital on our own time to research our pt before clinicals, thank god this is a one year affair , since they said we'll not have a life. I'm still going to work, it's possible, atleast that what the bill collector will say lol.
So I just got my acceptance letter full time generic at medical campus. woowoo! Anyways Im doing all the paperwork needed before orientation which is next thursday.. but everyone is talking about clinicals/books/uniform ect... should I even concern myself with these things before orientation?? Or can someone get a heads up on where to buy my books and what about getting my classes in order?! wheres the list and can I sign up already or is it after orientation where I am allowed to sign up for this... thank you so much guys!!!

I am trying to get everything done by orientation, but today I went to medical campus to Pay my deposit and accept my seat and the girl told me we will have an extension until Aug 3 to submit all the docs.
I won't be getting any books or uniforms until we have orientation.
Sweet! So we have an extention ....here I am hurrying everything up lol. I made an appointment for the shots on Monday and our orientation is this thursday coming up right?
Well that is what the girl told me!! Anyways I'm also trying to do everything now, you never know they may say a diff thing tomorrow :/. I completed my background yesterday am received my confirmation today :) yeyy! Today I accepted my seat, cpr class sundat and have my medical appointment monday ahah.
