Miami Dade College Fall 2015 RN Program

Hey guys,

I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.

So far this is what I know:

  1. Spring 2015 students do not need an entrance exam - let's see if they keep it this way for Fall 2015 applicants
  2. There will be a mandatory SOS Pre Nursing Bootcamp that will need to be attended upon acceptance to the program.
  3. I called advising today (7/7/14) the receptionist said I should start applying in January, but I'll confirm that once again before then.
  4. 60% sciences and 40% cumulative GPA is still the criteria as far as we know.

I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).

Has anyone called today to find out if they'll be sending emails out this week? I assume it'd be tomorrow, Wednesday or Thursday. I called last week and I'm afraid if the same lady picks up and recognizes me, I spoke with her for a while, it's getting embarrasing lol

I gave up on the calling, they always tell me the same thing. "Keep checking your emails daily"

I don't think they will be sending emails today bc the due date to accepts seats is today by 7:00pm. For sure sometime after tomorrow and this is the last batch of emails.

The same happened to me but the subject is going to say CONGRATULATIONS. Keep visualizing. It's coming !!!!!!

I got into the accelerated option, 3.3 science gpa. Anyone else got into accelerated option? I'm excited!!

Im in for accelerated as well! Will you be working at all? Im still debating it =\

U can start but you won't be able to go to clinicals

I was told by the MDC clinic that its out of season and I can't get it until October
