Is anyone else applying to the MGH Accelerated BSN program for Summer 2015? How is everyone feeling about it??

Yeah, it definitely has a fantastic reputation and trains you well. Your clinicals are at some of the best hospitals in the country, so that is a plus. Lots of people make connections at clinicals that help them land a job later. The MGH community is amazing and has some very successful and driven people. Many who work at MGH are also the professors at the IHP...so in a lot of ways there is an affiliation (just not officially).

And yeah, my neighbor went there and graduated July 2014 and was working at MGH by Nov '14

is the last semester clinical immersion the same as a preceptorship?

I'm fairly certain that you work one on one with a nurse, so yes. I'd check on that though because I've applid to so many places that I could be mixing it up.

Are people moving to Boston from far? Also what age are most? I'm from MA and 23!
