Is anyone else applying to the MGH Accelerated BSN program for Summer 2015? How is everyone feeling about it??
hello, everyonei just got accepted into the summer 2016 program, and will be attending
since it's been about a year now,i just wanted to see how it is for those of you who are in it
I just got accepted into the Summer '16 program as well. I'm from CA, so I'm a little nervous about making the move if I decide to attend. I'd love to hear how the program is going for those of you attending now/in the past. Any and all info and tips would be very much appreciated!

I am from California and I was accepted but didn't attend... It depends on whether you would want to come back and work in California

I see. I definitely want to come back and work in California, but unfortunately, I don't think I will get into an ABSN program in CA. Can you clarify what you mean when you say it depends on whether I would want to come back and work in CA? Thank you!!

I had the opportunity to attend top ranked schools around the nation but am at a state school where I have in state tuition. If you attend MGH, it'll be for a year and likely federal loans will not cover everything and you'll need a private loan. It's only a year, I'm not sure it's worth it. Also, if you are not in California you'll need to endorse your license and attending nursing school in California allows you to make connections as this state is saturated. I'm not saying go to West coast and I'm not sure it's worth it to go for ADN in California

Good luck! As far I know the waitlist hasn't moved,...even with at least 5 or more deciding to go to a different school.
