Anyone gotten an acceptance letter yet? If not when do you think the earliest that we'll hear?

When are we wearing the scrubs neway? I'm a bit confused since the school mentioned we should dress "casual professional" for our psych clinical.

You'll wear scrubs to your med-surg clinicals, pedi/OB too. Some people wore them to psych or community, but it depends where you are. Most people have to wear casual professional to psych and community.

I wore my lab coat every week when I went to my clinical site to get my patient info the day before because it depends on your site. And as I said, for flu shot clinics. I think I spent $20 on mine

I see med-surg clinical on my schedule .... what is community? I'm sorry lol i'm really lost.

community is in the fall so don't even worry about it! Med-surg is two semesters so in the fall you will have med-surg and community clinicals

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on the waiting list, and I recently received a letter from MGHIHP stating that they've released their waiting list applicants due to the overwhelming situation. Has anyone else received this letter??? I'm pretty upset that they did this, and I don't see the point since people are still capable of dropping out because classes haven't started yet. Well, either way, I am ready to reapply next year.

ERR....that sucks!! I'm on the waitlist as well but haven't received that letter. I'll probably get it soon. MGH was on the top of my list but I guess I gave up hope waiting as it seems like a lot of people were placed on the waiting list. I think I'm going to attend Umass Boston instead.

Hi Babycatcher, did MGH clarify the "overwhelming situation? " Dose this mean the class may already be to large or that there are large number of people on the waiting list? If that is the case, then maybe it is a good thing to know so you can plan for next year or check out other programs?

I received the same letter and it's dissappointing ...I guess now I have to send more application out there

Yes I did....I got my acceptance letter yesterday! Did you apply anywhere else besides MGH?? That stinks about the MGH letter I'll probably get mine today.
