I wanted to create this group for those who applied to the ABSN program in the Bronx for fall 2020

oh okay I didn't see that! I hope so. they just emailed saying my application is in review now but I had to send them my APll grade, they said they didn't get it. have you heard anything from them? when did you submit?

I submitted mine over the weekend so I doubt mine is in review yet. I’m going to PM you.

Hi guys! I am applying for the Fall 2020 ABSN program at Mercy. I am like super scared bc right now I have a 3.1 GPA and I’m wondering if people with my GPA are like getting in the school or is it more competitive. Also I was wondering how you set up your resumes and personal statements.

CONGRATS!! Did you submit letters of rec? I have 2 but someone earlier said they were advised by an admissions rep not to do so because it can delay your application.. But online, it says in bold that it is strongly recommended to include them so I feel weird ignoring it

thank you!! if you already have letters then use them but they don’t help or hurt, according to paul from admissions. but you can submit them after you submit your application if you don’t want to wait for your recommenders to send them. that’s what I did. someone from admissions called me after I started my app & told me not to wait. so my recommendations ended up getting emailed to admissions two weeks after I submitted my application & I actually got my acceptance notification that day. so it’s possible a decision was made for me before they even saw the letters of rec. good luck!

WOW! I applied back in February and submitted everything but still haven’t heard back from them. I was hoping to start the Summer too!

I haven’t spoken to him but from what I’ve read from others, fall applications start getting reviewed on March 31.
