They do the same for teachers as well. If you work in a rural (“low income” essentially ) area for a certain amount of time they forgive either a portion or maybe all of your debt, whatever the contract says. You’d have to take a loan out first, it’s a forgiveness program. It’s different than working for a nonprofit hospital that would pay for you to go back to school.
You misunderstood me, my apologies. Once you take out a loan, there are government programs that can forgive your loans (either public or private) if you work for an under-served area (most of the time rural or urban) for, I believe, a period of 10 years.

Yep! You are right! Sorry my mistake!
For Summer semester is will cost $11,689 with all the credit and fees.
Hey, everyone asking about tuition and fees - I just got off the phone with my financial aid advisor and I highly suggest you email financial aid and they will put you in touch your with your specific advisor. She broke down all the fees and let me know how much federal aid I had available to use that I didn’t use from my undergrad degree. She broke down all the fees due per semester. She estimated with fees for tuition and registration the program will run anywhere from $60,000-$62,000 because tuition increases every year.
I'm still trying to figure out how to pay for the program. My conversation definitely helped! Best of luck to everyone!

how long does it take for fafsa to send your package? my advisor gave me an estimate of something lower smh. I’m really second guessing this school

I emailed the financial aid office, the head advisor is ———— and the email is ———— but then I guess he directly forwarded my email to my specific financial aid advisor who emailed me and set up a phone appointment, then went through everything to me. You need to first find out who your assigned advisor is for financial aid.

The way my advisor broke it down to me is that 2019 and 2020 FAFSA only is for Summer when you fill out the application (I did two of them and will have to do an additional one for Fall of 2021 because that is a new financial school year) and so that is what they can package you for now and once it gets closer they will let you know about the 2020 and 2021. For Summer 2020 it came in maybe 2 weeks. She didn’t get my 2020-2021 in yet but she just divided whatever loan eligibility I had left for the rest of the program. The fees in my opinion are a little much. It’s an additional $400 per semester as a registration fee and she said accelerated nursing students have an Additional fee as well. This is unfortunately one of the cheaper private schools. My counselor also was factoring she said a 1-2% tuition increase per year.

oh okay thanks I completed the fafsa for both Summer & fall yesterday. I’ll speak to her again when she gets my packages. I don’t think I’ll get much aid for Summer because it made me put in my fathers income but for the 2020-2021 fafsa just my income. so Summer I’ll probably have mostly loans.

Did you take any loans out for your first bachelors degree? She said the federal max for anyone borrowing is a total of $55,000 of you’re independent and change (does not include accumulated interest). Once you’ve taken out that amount they won’t approve for any more.
