Thank you! This is a mess. My primary care office is closed and I can’t get my records for castle branch. I can’t get my CPR - it expired this month. Can’t go and get drug tested because I refuse to go to the lab w/ everything going on ..

such a mess! my clinic is closed too. they extended the deadline for castle brunch but haven’t given a date. I thought they would have just extended the start date for class too.

it’s 9467 per semester for tuition & then some fees which bring it to around 11,000 more or less. there’s five semesters

OK just asking because I received a financial aid package but it states for the fall and Spring and then gave me the amount I would owe the school after the aid. So I was curious to know if Summer, fall and Spring are terms and still one semester. I dont know if that makes sense

I think financial aid won’t cover for the Summer classes

I’m not sure. I know Summer is included in the 2019-2020 fafsa package & fall is included in 2020-2021 but IDK if that answers your question. reach out to ——-—--, ————. He is the director of financial aid.

Summer is included, if you want them to cover Summer 2020 you have to apply for the 2019-2020.

Does anyone know about loans outside of federal loans? I don’t think they’re going to lend me the full amount. I’m about $3,000 short already for Summer and they haven’t priced out 2020-2021 for me. Is Sallie Mae different from Fafsa? Like can I apply for a loan on my own through them for school?

You have to apply for private loans on your own. All private loans (incl Sallie Mae) are done seperately (no connection to FAFSA)

Thanks, I wasn’t sure if Sallie Mae is private or not that’s why I asked. Has anyone used them for undergrad? Also, does any know of any loan companies!?

Sallie Mae has an enormous interest rate. You can gain up to $1000+ per semester on top of the amount you borrowed. I would look for another company with lower interest rates OR... you can see this as an investment and take the loan and have it forgiven by working in needed area. That’s also another option

Thank you! Yes so I’ve heard but I’m nervous about taking out a loan from a company I’ve never heard of before so that’s probably why their interests rates are so high because they’re known and trusted. I've also read some loan services don’t even wait until you graduate to start paying. At least they allow deferment.
