Hi I'm creating a group for all the people who applying or got accepted to mercy college in ny for Spring 20

I got accepted for the Summer cohort.

I really hope we start in May and do not get pushed further.

Did ———— say anything? I did not get an email.

All I received were the checklists that have to be completed by April 15.

Does anyone know what campus we will be attending? is it the one in the bronx?

it’s the bronx campus. right now the start date is may 27 but IDK if it will be pushed back, neither does ————. someone posted earlier, either in here, or another forum, that the April 15 deadline isn’t definite. there are five semesters.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently applying for the Fall semester. I actually graduated from Mercy back in 2018. I took A&P ll when I was getting my Associates degree at another college, but the course's lab didn't have its own credit, so it was 3 credits not 4. I am currently taking A&P ll this semester. Do you think they will still consider my application, although this course's grade won't be part of my application? & do you think once I complete this course in May, should I send in the grade that I receive? Due to everything that's currently going on, I wish they would extend their Fall's application deadline, but it's seems like they're not.

hey, did someone tell u it had to be a four credit course for u to apply?but yes add the new grade when you get it. I think they’ll still consider you. but also call admissions to let them know you’re now taking a four credit course that’s in progress, so that if they really care about it being four credits it won’t look like you’re missing something.

Thanks for the advice! I just figured it wouldn’t transfer because when I first went to Mercy, they wouldn’t except neither my A&P l or ll due to both courses only being 3 credits. I fought to have them transferred because I received A’s in both courses. They then told me if I took A&P l over, I wouldn’t have to take ll over. But, I’ll just let them know I’m currently taking ll again & once the course is over I’ll send my grade to them. Thanks again.

WOW!, You will be the A&P Queen of Mercy Hospital! They will love love love you ?

I think the 4 credits just means that there is a lab course that goes with it... Have you made that clear?

When exactly are you starting the program ?

Are they starting given the pandemic? isn't' everyone staying at home ??? ? ? And Hospital super dangerous for non clinical experts ????

Thank you! This is a mess. My primary care office is closed and I can’t get my records for castle branch. I can’t get my CPR - it expired this month. Can’t go and get drug tested because I refuse to go to the lab w/ everything going on ..
