Also, some people may have Clinicals Wednesday afternoon, Friday or even Saturday.
Books are expensive if you’re purchasing to keep but there are options that are significantly cheaper such as renting through amazon. Some things are unavoidable such as having to purchase PrepU for Pharmacology which was $150 (Everything online— book, assignments, practice quizzes) and SafeMedicate for dosage calculations ($100).

scrubs are purchased through Meridys. School will provide that information for purchasing when the time comes. In this Spring cohort, we wear our scrubs all the time because of lab being on both Monday and Thursday. Scrubs with school logo (purchased through Meridys) must be worm to clinicals. Cheaper scrubs may be worn on non-clinical days to lab.

Our first semester is classes are

Fundamentals (Lec, Lab)

Health Assessment (Lec, Lab, Sim)

Pharmacology (Lec, Lab (online—dosage calculation)

Clinicals

Just as @OsiriaRose mentioned, this is simply our experience. With this being a newer program, things can very well change as they learn and grow.

Respectfully, how are the professors as a whole? Do you feel like you have a good support system between your classmates staff and professors ?

Curious where else you all applied?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a place or grammar app that can review my personal statement ? (Free or Paid)

I just made a FB group for Mercy ABSN 2020 cohort

you can search as "Mercy College NY ABSN summer 2020 Cohort"

I live in long Island also! I plan on commuting as I don't think they have dorms at the bronx campus.

They just announced they were having a summer semester so they will probably put it in the system soon.

Can you share the toll cost each way! Its $6.72 each way for me from Queens.

Both bridges are expensive for tolls.

I applied for the fall but would like to know how you were contacted about your acceptance. Via phone or email? & also do you mind sharing your stats?

Curious if any of you also applied to College of Mount Saint Vincent? Wondering about the 2 in comparison to each other.....

Hi! Did you get accepted for the fall? Also, how long was your application complete for? Like did it take them a long time to accept you?

Hey! No I just paid my deposit so far but everything to get started is in my portal. My first step is applying for financial aid and then I’ll worry about everything else afterwards.

Hey! Thank you! And yes I’ll be commuting but I come from across the TZ bridge 40 minutes upstate so thankfully it’s only $4.50 to cross over and no toll coming back. They rebuilt the bridge last year so I’m hoping the tolls don’t go up while I’m in school.
