Hi everyone :) just noticed that they posted the day they are accepting applications on Merced's website! Who's applying? This will be my second try!

Yes all i did was drop it in a box, I was in there for less than a minute, no line. I think I saw around 10 people that were dropping off their application. Hopefully they didn't get to 400! A girl I know stepped in the room 1 minute late and they did not take her application!

I really thought there would be a line of at least 100+ wrapped around the building LOL since they accept up to 400! Ugh maybe next year it will be ?

I cant apply til next year, I'm anxious now, I can only image how everyone felt/ feeling that applied yesterday !!!! Wishing you and everyone BEST luck getting it!

Omg really??? They didn’t take her application. That’s really sucks. :( Now the waiting starts. IT is so nerve wrecking.

I know I felt bad for her. But yes, so nerve wrecking to wait...... I'm guessing there was no line because all we did was drop off the envelope, I know last year they were going over the application but not this year. I just hope I filled everything correctly, a counselor did go over my application and said it looked good, its just stressful because so many people apply and it's just if we get lucky.

Well someone here said that one person said they were expecting 400 but really nobody knows. A counselor told me that maybe it would be less applications than last year because this year they only had 1 day to apply and maybe some people would miss the application day but who knows.... and yes we r all nervous and anxious!!

As I was in line around 7:40 AM, I believe it was the nursing director that came out and stated that they are expecting around 400 applicants this year. I hope this isn’t true but I wouldn’t be surprised!

First time applying to Merced, I also applied to Fresno City and West Hills in Lemoore, I am praying and crossing my fingers that one of them accept me!!! I was expecting to be in Merced for a long time stuck in line because it was a one day only application period but I literllay walked up, put my application in a box and left. Good luck everyone!!

What college is your first choice?

My first choice is Fresno, it’s the closest for me.

Hey guys, anyone know how many applications they ended up recieving? I know they said they were expecting 400, I am hoping they didn't, lol. I cant believe we have to wait this long!

No idea.. lol

but i hope we hear back sooner than last year, which was late May.
