Merced College Applicants Fall 2019 Spring 2020

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi everyone :) just noticed that they posted the day they are accepting applications on Merced's website! Who's applying? This will be my second try!

Today is the day! Good luck to everyone!

Just double checking before I go turn it in:

For the Unofficial Transcript from Merced Collge, do I need to have one printed if I didnt take any classes at the college? or do I write N/A?

and if so do you think theyll print me one today at Admissions and Records?

hey everyone i just turned in my paperwork a couple of hours ago. there wasnt too many people there. however, i was thrown off that the application had to be typed. i wasn't able to type it at home so i had to use the library. the paper said we will be hearing back may/june.

It's now 11:30 and there is more people than earlier.... may/June! That's a lot of waiting lol

3rd time applicant here! Good luck to everyone!

I went as soon as it opened and it was pretty busy! Was it busy for any of you when you went to turn it in?? One of the ladies announced that they had around 320 applicants last year and are expecting 400 applicants this year and are accepting around 55 students.

Yes very busy at 12 right before they went to lunch. Soooo many applications very little open spots! And now the waiting begins

Hey this is my first time applying to merced college nursing program with 90 pts. Im hoping for a top spot. Just curious as to how many points y'all had?

hey everyone, I'm not applying til 2020 but after reading the comments I'm curious how it's worked waiting to turned the application in...

Was it a long line outside room 126 or hallway? Once u dropped it off, did they ask u any questions or is it just a fast drop off and go? What's a round number of people seen applying?

I read comments, it was busy early am and before lunch.. I'm guessing around 60-100 people?

Oh no...I wish it was that few people. They were expecting about 400 applicants. :(

I went at around 12 and the lady asked me if I had typed everything I could, I said yes and she said to put it in one of the boxes nearby.

There was no line and it took about 30 seconds. She then gave me a green slip of paper that had some info on if you’re accepted or denied.

I’m not too sure about how many applied, but I think someone else posted it.
