Yes, I had to update my address yesterday since I moved and they told me yesterday that they are still working on stuff that nothing is finalized or send out yet.

Good luck everyone

My first time applying to Merced. So I’m expecting to get that dreaded email.

Heard there was around 400 applicants. During my teas the director said out of the 55 or something they accept 18 spots are taken already for the top applicants, and 4th time applicants.

Also heard this is the last year for the 4th time applicant rule applies.

They are changing a lot ?

Omg is it really the last time for 4th time applicants? I asked if that was changing but the (I believe it was) nursing director said that won’t be changing. ? I hope that doesn’t change!

What I heard was that this years first time applicants will still have that rule in place and all the other applicants. Like the 2nd and 3rd year that applied this year. But next year the applicants won’t have that luxury. But it’s just what I heard. Nothing is posted about it.

Im thinking it’s because there are so many 4th time applicants and all the spots would be of just 4th time applicants ya know. I hope I explained that well lol

Omg really!?!?! 400 applications! Probably not getting in either ??? a counselor had told me that she was expecting less applications because of the changes they made for the application date and only being one day but who knows how many they recieved. She had also told me that they only have a few that get in on their 4th.

Omg this sucks. I have also heard that 4th time applicants spots are only for locals too. Who knows if that’s true. You know “rumors” lol.

Fourth time applicants rule doesn’t apply to only locals at all. I’ve known 4th time applicants from hella far away get in. But but it was their 4th consecutive tome applying they got in.

Ok well that’s great then. Like I said it was rumors. But I’m not from Merced so I would have been screwed lol.

I’d be screwed too if the 4th consecutive rule didn’t apply to out of towners and the next years. Well let’s just hope and pray they send out notifications soon!
