Thanks for calling to ask about how the notification will occur, I was curious to see if it was similar to previous year's given how the interview notification was different this year (and we used a different application web portal I believe).

I also also think we likely won't hear until at least Friday the 13th (talk about either auspicious or unlucky!)

Yeah, the latest word from XX is this:

"We are meeting next week to render decisions and then I will try to get them out to you as soon as possible. Even if something irregular occurs, I would not expect them to go out any later than the end of the month."

End of the month?? Ahhhhh! Let's hope it stays on schedule and in line with previous years so we will have an answer by next Friday. I'm not sure how I would handle the anxiety for two additional weeks!

Last year they met on Thursday and notification decisions came out on Friday. I suspect we'll have a similar turn around. I think the office needs to be vague about when notifications go out so that they aren't hounded by applicants in the event something irregular (as XX worded it) comes up and pushes back the date - It's easier to say "by the end of the month" and deliver early, than say "by the 13th" and deal with the freak out if they deliver late.

Not that it means anything in particular, but I just Facebook stalked my friend who found out last year on 2/14 at 12:34pm. Not that I'm being obsessive or anything! I'm hoping just one more week of this emotional roller coaster. Pretty much every hour my confidence shifts dramatically. It's been a rough ride the past few weeks.

I assume the dates will be about a week apart for Jan 23 and Jan 30 interviewees? Or are they expecting to announce all of them on the same day?

From what I've read/heard, the decisions come out on the same day regardless of interview date.

Yes all notifications occur on the same day, regardless of your original interview date.
