  1. I'm in!!!!!!!!
  2. Ok guys, I jumped the gun and called - I figure someone had to! I spoke to our admissions coordinator/point person. The committee has convened and decisions have been made. He is doing his best to get everything posted as soon as possible. No other real clues beyond that - but it should be soon (like within the next couple of days). I have a good feeling it may be today. So close!
  3. I was tempted to email/call, but I feel like we'd get the same "by the end of the month" response in the event that there is a glitch or delay in posting notifications. That said I'm really, really hoping it's today!
  4. 3 more hours of anxiety - at least for now!
  5. It's 2pm PST - I'm gonna give it 3 more hours and call it a day. Ugh the waiting is killing me!
  6. A friend (also an applicant) just called the admissions coordinator about the timing of decisions and he said "by the end of the month". It may not be today, folks! Still hoping deep down it is though!
  7. Not that it means anything in particular, but I just Facebook stalked my friend who found out last year on 2/14 at 12:34pm. Not that I'm being obsessive or anything! I'm hoping just one more week of this emotional roller coaster. Pretty much every hour my confidence shifts dramatically. It's been a rough ride the past few weeks.
  8. Thank you @tenta for passing along the word from XX. Here's hoping we find out next week! So exciting and nerve-wracking! Best of luck to everyone!
  9. @ AdamOak - my impression (although I could be completely off) is that we should be notified via email on or around 2/13. A friend of mine who is a current MEPN received an email notification that there was a status update on the admissions portal. I trust the email notification system, but I also have this thead set to email alert so when everyone posts with good news I hope to do the same :) By my estimation a week and a half-ish to go!
  10. I interviewed yesterday - and probably met half of you and didn't even realize it! Best of luck to everyone interviewing next week. XX indicated that we would hear a decision by mid-February. If there were to be a delay in notifications beyond that he would let us know when we could expect a response. So now I can spend the next three weeks second-guessing everything I said and over-analyzing every remark. Best of luck to everyone!
  11. @tenta I work at UCSF too - I wonder if we have crossed paths (it's a big place, but still!)
  12. I just got an email that I have an interview for January 23rd!!!!!! Aaaaaaah!!!! Best of luck to everyone!!!!!
  13. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...anyone else really hoping for some news this week? The anticipation is killing me here - hope to be put out of my misery for better or worse!
  14. Hi everyone, I'm meeting with a current MEPN tomorrow - I fully plan on picking her brain as to the interview process, what questions to expect, how to best prepare, yadda, yadda, yadda. A lot of this information is on older threads, but it's always nice to hear it first-hand. I am fully aware that I may not be invited to interview, but it feels good to do something productive while kicking the tires and waiting to hear some (hopefully good) news!
  15. I'm thinking - and this is only because I'm totally insane - that if it were me who hadn't received an email, I would follow up. It seems that some of us have (me, missliliposh, others I imagine), and some of us haven't received anything. In case there's a problem (e.g. something missing) I would certainly want to know as soon as possible. @Missliliposh I certainly hope it's a good thing!
