You all are far more optimistic than me; I don't think we are going to hear anything by this Friday (but that's just me).

I am more anxious to hear from Yale, which will probably indicate to you all where I'd like to go. I liked UCSF and would probably be happy going there, but I wasn't thrilled with the interview day so it's not my top choice (although it's less expensive in the long run by about $17k compared to Yale -- I'm in-state by the way).

I've been accepted to UVa, and am still waiting to hear back from Hopkins and Duke. I wish I had not applied to Hopkins now. I have found that their application process this year has lacked transparency and been disorganized.

@elefant3 - Sorry to hear about Hopkins, but there's no harm is having applied right? I guess you can't get your time and application fees back, but you don't have to accept them even if they accept you. Did Yale give you a ballpark as to when they would have decisions by? I hope everyone is able to get into their top pick of schools.

I'm AGNP as well - didn't get to meet many during my interview day, so I was curious if any of us were on here haha.

I'm AGNP - HIV subspecialty, there were only about 5 AGNP candidates (across all subspecialties) in my interview cohort. The majority of our group was FNP or MW.

I have a crazy spreadsheet with all the programs I've applied to, all sorts of info about them, and the previous couple years' notification dates, and the last 3 years UCSF notified on 2/14, 2/7, and 2/24, so honestly it's a crap shoot.

I wish I had not applied to Hopkins now. I have found that their application process this year has lacked transparency and been disorganized.

Right!? They kept sending emails for weeks after the deadline saying you could still apply, lost my GRE scores, and were generally hard to get a hold of. Especially after them having cancelled the very cool BSN/MSN with paid clinical residency program, I have to say I was disappointed.

I hope notifications come soon! UCSF is an impressive school. Anyone have any hints at what specific day the 2015 cohort begins?

I believe they said the week of June 21st, with some orientation activities happening the week before that.

The admissions coordinator indicated during my round of interviews that the program would begin June 15th, with maybe an orientation the week before. As for when we will hear back, the admissions coordinator indicated at the meeting that there will be a quick turnover between the admissions' meeting at the end of this week, and him sending out notifications via email. I have high hopes for this Friday, if not Monday. All faith in SJ (the MEPN admissions coordinator)!

Hi everyone! Nice to find this thread. Has anyone started a Facebook group yet? I know there was one going around this time last year. I'll be starting as a MEPN this year (psych) and can't wait! Don't worry--admissions decisions haven't been sent out yet, I was accepted last year and deferred. Deferrals are almost never possible, but I had a baby

I don't believe there is a Facebook group yet, but I could be wrong. Congratulations on getting admitted last year! I have applied for Psych as well. Crossing my fingers as UCSF is my top choice school. I'm hoping to hear back this week as Monday is a holiday at UC.
