I don't think it's just me, but I don't find your joke the least bit funny or amusing! And the rest you you that are yukking it up and agreeing with this are only adding to the problem.
The fact that a woman is having her period is not a reason, or even an excuse, for anybody to put scissors in anyone's temple or a bat up their asses, especially men. What part of that do you not understand?
Why continue to foster the "women are victims" philosophy by joking about cruelty to other people. Or, perhaps you've bought into the idea that men really do deserve such treatment simply because they are men? I realize, I think, that this is supposed to be a forum for humor, but this isn't funny.
As a man looking to go into nursing as a second career, I think I'll have enough challenges and have to watch my back as it is.
Flame away if it makes you feel better, but your period is not my problem. Don't get me wrong. I'm very sensitive and compassionate...............I'm married and I have four daughters, but "taking it out" on others is plain wrong, regardless of the cause. Period and paragraph.

Oh, Walt, you really have to be a woman to understand. Ask you wife or daughters, I bet they would be laughing to. Scissors and a bat are pretty mild considering how many of us feel. And I don't consider myself a victim just because I occasionally would like to kill my man or eat myself to death with a ton of chocolate. Heck, sometimes I want to kill him and it's not the "time of month".
