For those of you who keep your wallet in your scrubs, and use the same wallet outside of work, what do you recommend? Especially if it is a slim wallet that allows for a small amount of cash and a small amount of cards. Thank you.

I don't personally wear a wallet, but have you considered a money clip?

I've tried money clips, but they don't work with id and credit cards that well; plus, I'm hoping for RFID protection.

my wallet goes in my locker when I get to work.

I just use a regular ol leather wallet and has not once fallen out of my scrubs. It is a Calvin Klein wallet but I bought it on sale thankfully. All wallets can be slim, it just depends on how much junk you stash in there.

I leave my wallet in my locker, locked. You can get cellphone cases that hold a card and cash....

Why do you need cash and credit cards when at work? Only time I have needed cash is if somebody brings their kids candy or such for school sales.

I do admit that our hospital has our badges set up to payroll deduct in the cafeteria and snack room. I guess if it did not I might have to carry a little cash or credit card (but even then would probably leave it in my locker).

To give our hard earned paycheck back to the hospital's cafeteria of course! And also, to hit up the 7-Eleven that's 5 minutes away. Or to even use the vending machines.

Wallet just gets in the way... I used to carry it, and yet as soon as I got to work, (35yrs ago) it was into my bag or locker. My class ring got tied onto my scrub's draw-string. I think it's been in my wife dresser for years now. I started out in CCU/ICU/Trauma, where at lease weekly, I would have to change into clean scrubs. Now days, I'm a wound & high-tech homehealth RN. Too much in my pockets as it is.

I suggest a wallet that fits in your scrubs. I also suggest a wallet that fits in your jeans or your suit. Hopefully it can also fit your kakis. Which wallet would I suggest? Any wallet they fit in all of the above.

Since I'm not guaranteed access to a locker or safe area for my wallet, I wanted something thin and minimalist that offered RFID protection. I ended up going with Mens Aluminum Wallet RFID Protection Standard by BilletVault

Slimmys are good wallets.
